In the years since, she's been on sitcoms like ABC's Suburgatory and TBS's People of Earth and NBC's American Auto. She also was a part of the film Mean Girls. Her career began as an Northwestern University voice student, then shifted to acting after she joined the improv troupe on campus. The same spirit carried over into her roles in supporting roles, such as the almost tense Sheila Shay in Suburgatory, as well as the quirky Karen Grisham on Lady Dynamite.
