Ashton Whitty and Asia Argento
Ashton Blaise Whitty, born November 1, 1995 was born in Berkeley, California. She is an actor popular for Choices (2010, The Heart and Other Small Shapes, 2006) and Chrissie Mair's Content House, 2022.
Asia Argento was raised in Rome with a film and actor family. She pursued both professions her own. As a young girl and acting, she made her debut in the film of Sergio Citti, Sogni e bisogni. The year 1988 was the time she portrayed the role of lead in the first feature of Cristina Comencini's film Zoo. She was also a part of Michele Soavi's cast in The Church. Red Wood Pigeon, the film in which she starred as Nanni Moretti's young daughter, was released just a few years later. It was Close Friends by Michele Placido that saw Asia's acting career explode. The film was given a warm reception in the Cannes International Film Festival. Daria Nicholodi is one of the most beloved actresses of Argento and played the role of an anorexic child searching for the killer. Asia's intense and concentrated style of acting was effectively utilized in the film Condannato a nozze. In 1993, Asia starred as Arianna a disabled child in Carlo Verdone's Perdiamoci di vista. It was a complex and demanding role for which she won the David di Donatello. The role she played was in Peter Del Monte's Compagna di viaggio with Michel Piccoli, which won her a David di Donatello along with an award of Grolla d'oro. Asia started her short film directing career in 1994. She also was the director of an episode in the film De Generazione. 1996 saw her directing a documentary alongside the father of her. 1998 saw her direct AbelAsia about the famous director Abel Ferrara. This film received a prize from the Rome Film Festival. Asia was the director of her first feature in Scarlet Diva (1999), in which she was the main actress in the film and the author of its screenplay. The film was released May 20, 2000 throughout Italy, and in other nations. The Williamsburg Festival of Film held in Brooklyn, New York awarded it with a award.
